The core of the P50 gear pump is a pair of high-precision meshing gears. When the drive gear is activated by the motor, the driven gear rotates in the opposite direction in sync. The enclosed space formed by the peaks and valleys of the two gears acts as a precision-meshed “transmission unit,” completing the entire process from suction to discharge.

During the suction phase, the meshing points of the gears gradually separate, causing the volume of the inlet-side gear slots to expand instantly, creating a low-pressure vacuum zone. At this point, the fluid is “sucked” into the gaps between the gears under external pressure, entering the transmission channel like precisely metered “energy units.” As the gears continue to rotate, the gear slots filled with fluid move to the outlet side with the gears' rotation. The meshing points gradually approach each other, causing the gear slot volume to sharply contract, and the fluid is squeezed into the discharge channel — the entire process is like a silent “mechanical relay,” maintaining a stable transmission rhythm with each rotation.

The ingenuity of this meshing motion lies in the helical gear meshing design adopted by the P50 gear pump. Compared to traditional straight-tooth structures, the helical gear design increases the contact area by 30%, resulting in a smoother meshing process. Third is energy efficiency, as the P50 gear pump achieves lower energy consumption compared to vane pumps by 12%-18% under the same flow rate output, thanks to minimal meshing losses and high volumetric efficiency.
